There is a lot to say about queen grafting or queen rearing. I could go on for hours, but to narrow it down basically queen rearing is the process of making your own queens. There is a lot to the process and it can be hard sometimes. But once you figure it out it’s a lot of fun and I enjoy it.
You get to watch as the queens grow and eventually emerge from their cell. I suggest that every beekeeper try queen rearing. Even if you get two queens out of fifteen grafts, that is still two more queens then you had before.
