I started beekeeping when I was around 8 years old. Now that I’m older and have been beekeeping for a few years, I realize how important it is to get younger girls and boys interested in beekeeping. As a girl and a younger beekeeper I don’t know very many young beekeepers.
I would like to get younger people interested in beekeeping, so I have done a few things to encourage that. For example I have featured boys and girls in some of my videos and I take every chance I can get to meet young beekeepers.
